Owner of home at Sandy Pond since 1995. Year round resident since 2007, parents & relatives owned camps at Sandy Pond since the middle 1940s.
Have done payroll and bookkeeping since I graduated from high school, at several different businesses. Worked for Moriss Machines in Baldwinsville, Iannuzzi Land Surveying in Liverpool, and Fulton Manufacturing in Fulton.
Employed at Woodlawn Cemetery, 800 Grant Blvd Syracuse as Office Manager and Bookkeeper from 1983 to my retirement in June 2007. Currently on the Board of Appeals for the Town of Sandy Creek. Notary Public -qualified in New York State.

Retired in 1997 from Oswego State College. Presently president of Groman Shores Water Works, a non-for-profit corporation, formed to take over the water operation of Groman Shores. Supplying 55 homes owners and 28 camp sites.
Retired from Oswego State as the manager of all mechanical maintenance for 15 dinning halls on campus and several off.
Free lanced as inspector for the County of Onondaga at the Crouse Hinds Theater for 18 months for a project improving stage lighting and power panels. Also several other areas of interior remodeling.
I was the mechanical inspector for the complete construction of the Sheraton University Hotel and became the head engineer when the hotel was in operation.
Transferred from Syracuse to New Jersey working for Control Data to become the Regional Manager of most of the northeast. My control center was in Rahway NJ with 135 service technicians.
Served 8 years in the military and became a mechanical engineer.

Retired from Alcan Aluminum, Oswego NY facility in 1997. 20 years as a machine and facility designer, consisting of engineering from brainstorming though completion of machinery and facilities. For example services to gas lines, water, roadways, propane storage areas, maintenance of buildings.
Previously employed at General Electric for 18 years.
5 years as a designer of facilities both local and on NASA projects such as satellite tracking systems for Cape Canaveral and down range though Bahamas Isles.
Upon retirement located to Sandy Pond from Pulaski.

Graduated high school in 1972.
Completed a course in 1973 at General Motors Institute of Technology in Tarrytown, NY where I learned to assess and repair damage.
From 1973 to 1975 was hired by local car dealerships as an estimator and auto body repairman.
Was hired by the NY State thruway department in 1975. While employed there, I obtained my commercial driver license to advance my position and became a truck driver and heavy equipment operator.
Enlisted in the Army in 1976. Served three years in the 101st Airborne Division as a combat engineer and demolition specialist. While in the Army, I completed United States Atlantic Fleet Amphibious training as well as air assault school and earned my silver wings. I was honorably discharged at the end of 1979.
From 1980 to 1982 I worked at Mohawk Metals Inc as a welder.
In 1982, purchased Yetty's Pizza and Family Restaurant with a business partner. Remodeled it from top to bottom and ran a highly successful business. In 1987, my partner and I purchased the old Cape Vincent post office and converted it into a seasonal restaurant with an apartment above, overlooking the St Lawrence River. After the partnership dissolved in 1988, I kept the Cape Vincent property while my partner retained the Herkimer restaurant.
1n 1991, my fiancé and I bought 1.91 acres of undeveloped land on the North Sandy Pond. In 1995 we moved to North Sandy Pond, living in a camper while we commenced to build our new home during which time the Cape Vincent property was being leased.
In October of 1996 I was married to Cheryl Moodie, in 2000 sold the Cape Vincent restaurant. In the summer of 2000, purchased 2 acres of land on NYS Rt 3 and developed it, installing a well, power and septic system. In November of 2001 our daughter Clarice was born. In 2001 leased NYS Rt 3 land to the state for approximately 3 years while they did bridge repairs. In 2010 sold the NYS Rt 3 property.
After High School I served in the Seabees. This is where I started my schooling in plumbing , heating and surveying.
After the Navy I worked in the land surveying field for 5 years. After surveying I changed my career to plumbing and the pipe fitting field. I have worked construction my entire life, from house construction to commercial and industrial piping. I retired at the end of 2008.
